Melanie Alean Brown-Stone, 47, of Bartlesville, died at 8:31 A.M. on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at the Jane Phillips Medical Center following a brief illness.
A reception for family and friends will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, August 6, 2018 at the Holiness Tabernacle in Ochelata. Following the reception, funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, August 6, 2018 at the Ochelata Holiness Church with Jon Barham officiating. Interment will be in the Ochelata Cemetery directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
Friends who wish may call for visitation at the Stumpff Funeral Home from 9 AM until 8 P.M. on Saturday and Sunday.
Melanie was born in Bartlesville on January 18, 1971 the daughter of Stephen Jackson Brown and Melanie Rosellosa-Brown. She grew up and received her education in the Philippines at Clark Air Force Base while her father was in the military and then at Caney Valley High School in Ramona where she graduated in 1989. She was employed at the Hillcrest Country Club and then attended Clary Sage College in Tulsa where she graduated with honors twice in Massage Therapy and Esthetics in 2011 and 2012. She was employed at Fusion Massage & Wellness until opening her own business, Baylon Esthetics and Massage in Bartlesville in January 2016. She was loved by all who met her. Her stunning beauty on the outside was no match for the love that poured from her heart. Her famous smile, laugh and hugs will always be missed in our hearts forever.
Melanie is survived by three daughters, Chelsea Loren Stone, Chloe Rain Stone and Sophie Elizabeth Stone all of Ochelata, her mother, Melanie Brown of Ochelata, a niece, Megan Brown, one grandchild, DeAngelo Khalil and another grandchild due in December. She was preceded in death by her father, Stephen Jackson Brown and a sister, Stephanie Brown.
