Susan Leggett Stogner
Fayetteville—Mrs. Susan Leggett Stogner, 66, of Fayetteville passed away after a brief illness on Friday, December 18, 2020 at Highsmith-Rainey Hospital. Susan was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her humor, cheerfulness, and kind ways will be missed by many, especially her family.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert "Bob" Stogner; her daughter, Suzanna Stogner West and husband Billy West of Fayetteville; son, Bradley Stogner and wife Nicole of Savannah, Georgia; and five grandchildren, Will and Lila Susan West; and Tyler, Blake, and Chase Stogner.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Etta Brown and Alex Leggett of Rowland; two brothers, Jack and Jimmy Leggett; and two sisters, Linda Leggett Smith and Gail Leggett.
She was an active member of First Baptist Church and a former preschool teacher at First Presbyterian Church.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 12pm at Lafayette Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to First Baptist Church, 201 Anderson St., Fayetteville, NC 28301.
