Zore, Frances M.

Frances M. Zore, 97, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Meadow View Manor Nursing Home where she resided for the past 17 months. The previous two years she resided with her daughter, Carol. She was born in Joliet, Illinois on October 4, 1915 the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Bowhan Sepich.

She was a member of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, Sheboygan Homemakers Club, volunteer of the Sheboygan Chapter of the Red Cross and a city poll worker. After she raised her children, she loved taking care of her four grandchildren as they were growing up.

Throughout her life, Frances enjoyed gardening, baking, cooking, sewing and knitting. She was known for the big garden on the corner of 10th St. and Indiana Ave., with all the beautiful flowers and vegetables. She loved to travel and her first flight was to Hawaii. She enjoyed going on many bus trips with her lady friends. She was proud of her Slovenian heritage and passed on many treasured traditions to her children and grandchildren. Though she experienced many tragedies and adversities in her life, she never complained. She was a sweet, kind and gentle soul and her family was lucky to have her so many years and cherish the time we had with her. She will be dearly missed by her family.

She is survived by her daughters Frances Wustrack of Rosendale, Wis., Carol (Jeff) Rudie of Sheboygan and a son Richard (Marcia) Kotnick of Fond du Lac and four grandchildren, Dan Wustrack of Milwaukee, John Wustrack of Whitefish Bay, Jeff (Lori) Kotnick and Tricia (Jason) Fridley of Fond du Lac and 4 great¬grandchildren - Fisher, Tucker and Oliver Kotnick and Lucy Fridley and a brother-in-law, Frank Kotnick.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Rudolph Kotnick, her second husband Carl Zore, an infant daughter Suzanne Zore, a brother Adolph Sepich and son-in-law Dan Wustrack.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 4, 2013 at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, 822 New Jersey Ave., Sheboygan with Rev. Jerome Repenshek, officiating. Family and friends may call at the church on Monday morning from 9:30 A.M. until the time of Mass at 11:30 A.M. Burial will take place at Greendale Cemetery.

Her family wishes to thank the entire staff of Meadow View Manor Nursing Home, Hospice Advantage and Dr. Nicholas Barnes and staff for the compassionate care she received while she resided at Meadow View especially during those last difficult hours.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Frances's name. The Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at
