James Rude Obituary
Fond du Lac - James Allen Rude, 90, of Fond du Lac, WI passed away peacefully on Monday, April 19, 2021. He was born on September 4, 1930 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI to the late William H. and Irene E. (Roberton) Rude. He married Patricia Ann Duckart on May 26, 1952 in Wisconsin Rapids. Jim served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict from 1951 - 1954. He was employed by Consolidated Papers, Inc. Wisconsin Rapids for 14 years. Jim retired from Wisconsin Power and Light (currently known as Alliant) in 1992 after 17 years.
Jim is survived by his children: Pamela (Larry) Heath, Scottsville, KY; Gary (Sue) Rude, Pewaukee; Susan (Richard) Bakovka, Largo, FL; Allen (Kristina) Rude, Fond du Lac; Sandra (Gerald) Jones, Sheboygan; and Kevin (Mark Krueger) Rude, Wauwatosa; 10 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 2 great step grandchildren; sisters Ardis Schingo and Karen Joosten; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was his loving wife, Patricia, and brothers Gene Rude and Robert Rude.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Kurki Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 31 East Division Street, Fond du Lac from 4pm until the prayer service at 6pm.
