San Antonio, TX - Patricia (Patti) Deer, 57, a resident of San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on December 30, 2018, due to complications of a stroke.

She was born November 2, 1961 in Fond du Lac, WI, a daughter of Thomas Deer and Deanne (Percy) Deer.

On August 13, 2012 she married Arthur (Buddy) Brown in San Antonio, Texas.

Patti was a 1980 graduate of L.P. Goodrich High School in Fond du Lac. She served in the United States Army for three years from 1982 - 1985 as a combat medical specialist. Patti earned her LVN at the ISD School of Vocational Nursing in 1987 and was employed by St. Luke's Baptist Hospital in San Antonio for several years. She loved being a nurse and was very proud of her work. Patti enjoyed a private life with her husband and their two cats, but loved to partake in celebrating at a good old fashioned Irish pub! She was a hippy at heart! Patti enjoyed watching football with her husband and was a die-hard Green Bay Packer fan. Above all else she loved her family and spending time with her husband and close friends.

Survivors include, her mother, Deanne Deer of Pembine, WI, two sisters, Nancy (Barbara) Deer of Sacramento, California, Linda (Terry) McCullen of Winneconne, WI, and husband, Arthur (Buddy) Brown of San Antonio, Texas. She is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Thomas in 2004

A Celebration of Life will be held in April.
