David Demboski Obituary
Demboski, David John

David John Demboski was born Oct. 11, 1947, in Fond du Lac, Wis. and passed away Nov. 23, 2013, at his winter home in Kingman, Ariz.

In 1982, Dave followed his dream to live, hunt, and raise his family in Alaska. Dave and his wife, Mary, raised their son, Ben, in Chugiak, Alaska. Living the Alaskan dream included building a cabin in Willow, hunting, fishing, spending time with his grandkids, Kennedy and Riley, and enjoying the adventures of retirement with Mary.

After 20 years of service, Dave retired from AWWU. He was a longtime member of the Eagle River Elks Lodge 2682.

He is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 43 years, Mary Demboski, of Willow, Alaska; his son and daughter-in-law, Benjamen and Amy Demboski, of Chugiak, Alaska; his wonderful grandchildren, Kennedy and Riley Demboski, of Chugiak, Alaska; his brother, Tom Demboski, of St. Germain, Wis.; as well as numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews in Wisconsin.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Bernette Demboski, as well as his older brother, Roger Demboski.

Mary and her family would like to thank all their friends and family for the cards, calls, and wishes of comfort.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Dec. 8, at the Eagle River Elks Lodge, 17111 N Eagle River Loop Road, at 2 p.m.
