Sallie Ann (Truesdell) Blakemore, age 65 of Centralia, passed away at home on March 26.
A private family graveside service was held. A public Celebration of Life will be held on May 15th.
Sallie was born on May 15, 1955 in Clark, MO; the daughter of William Ward and Wanda Jean (Ayer) Truesdell, who proceeded her in death.
She was a graduate of Clark grade school, Moberly High School and attended MAJC.
On May 18, 1979 in Clark, Sallie married Mark Eugene Blakemore who preceded her in death on September 18, 2010.
Sallie was employed at the Centralia Feed Mill for 32 years, but retired from Boone Hospital where she worked as an administrator until the fall of 2018.
Sallie is survived by her son, Evan Blakemore and wife Jessica of Hallsville; brothers, Mike Truesdell of Moberly, Jay Truesdell and wife Karen of Sturgeon; cousins, Carol Swanson and husband Mark of Columbia, Rhonda Hutchens and husband Ron of Columbia;brothers-in-law, Alan Blakemore and wife Betty of Clark, Paul Blakemore and wife Debbie of Sturgeon, and one sister-in-law Suzi Embree and husband Doug of Sturgeon along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Sallie cherished her time with family and friends. She loved traveling, especially anywhere with a beach, and tending to her plants. Her, "happy place" was the lake.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Mt. Horeb Cemetery or the Chapel Grove Cemetery and may be sent in care of Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home, 104 S. Collier Centralia, MO 65240.
