Beatrice Marie Belliveau Obituary
Beatrice Marie Belliveau
formerly of Fitchburg; 90

Beatrice Marie Belliveau, 90, formerly of Fitchburg, died August 18th in Merritt Island, Florida surrounded by family and friends. Born in Fitchburg to Alice (LaFleche) and Adolph Belliveau, Bea attended Fitchburg High School. After high school, Bea worked for New England Telephone Co.

Golf was Bea's love. She was a natural. She won many local club championships and often played in Pro-Am tournaments. She played softball, basketball and volleyball and any sport open to women. But golf remained her true passion. She had a close association with the former Cenacle in Lancaster, MA. and volunteered on their switchboard. Her nieces and nephews were seen playing on the grounds many weekends.

In the 70's, Bea moved to Suntree in Melbourne, Florida to golf year round. Her life was glorious. She became a communicant of Ascension Church and helped with many causes. She lived in her home until one year ago when she moved to Courtenay Springs Village in Merritt Island, Florida. She was a favorite patient and walked around reminding everyone to smile and be happy.

She was predeceased by her sister, Doris Bedard and her brothers in law, Frederick Bedard and Edward Finneron. She is survived by her sister, Lucille Finneron of Booth Bay, Maine, who she referred to as "big sister." She loved her 6 nieces and nephews and their children.

The family would like to thank the staff of Courtenay Springs and her loyal friend, Meg Hingham. Bea's smile will be missed by all.

A private Mass and burial will be held at St. Bernard's Parish at St. Camillus de Lellis Church.
