ASHBURNHAM -- Sarah C. (Cook) Landine, 51, of 36 Hillandale Road, died Monday Dec. 26, at home peacefully with her husband and her family by her side after a long struggle with cancer.
She was born in Boston on Feb. 15, 1954, the daughter of Gardner and Eleanor (Kerns) Cook. She grew up in Lunenburg. She attended Applewild School in Fitchburg. At age 17, she moved to Seattle, Wa. for several years and then to Boston for several years. She had lived in Ashurnham for nine years.
Mrs. Landine was employed in the computer field having worked for the former Digital Corporation and for Applex Co. in Westborough.
She was a member of the Ashburnham Rod & Gun Club and loved the outdoors especially camping.
Mrs. Landine leaves her husband, William F. Landine; her son, Cody J. Walker of Ashburnham; her step-sons, William S. Landine and Thomas C. Landine both of Fitchburg; her step-daughters, Janice D. Seney and her husband Stephen, Lynsay J. Landine and Catherine L. Landine, all of Fitchburg; her brother, Whitney Cook and his wife Dale of Shelton, Conn.; nieces and nephews.
LANDINE -- On Dec. 26, Sarah C. (Cook) Landine, 51, of Ashburnham. A funeral service will be held Friday, Dec. 30, at 11 a.m. in Ashburnham Funeral Chapel, 33R Main St. Ashburnham. Calling hours are Thursday, Dec. 29, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Following cremation, burial will be at a later date. A reception for relatives and friends will follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St. Framingham Ma, 01701.

I worked with Sarah at Digital on the Helpdesk. As you all know Sarah had an unbelievable sense of humor. She was great to work with, a good friend and a terrific mother. My thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time.
