TIMMONSVILLE " Funeral service for Mr. Barry Fulton Stevenson will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, 2005, in New Zion Baptist Church, with the Rev. I. J. Myers officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery, directed by Bacote-Eaddy Funeral Home of Timmonsville.

He died Saturday Sept. 3, in a local hospital.

He was born in New York, a son of Linzy McCray and the late Rena Mae Stevenson. He attended the schools of Florence County and Plainfield, N.J. He was a farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Daisy Baker Stevenson; a daughter, Ayasia Stevenson of Coward; four sons, Christopher Johnson of Tampa, Fla., Kenyoda Gurley of Darlington, Jerry (Larina) Durant of Turbeville and Makieta McElveen of Olanta; a stepdaughter, Kawana Brown of Coward; his father, Linzy McCray; a special aunt, Dellene (Jimmy) Goodman of Florence; four other aunts; two uncles; a devoted grandaunt and -uncle, Bessie and Deacon Nathaniel Wilder of Florence; and six grandchildren.

The family is receiving friends at 1240 Lynches River Road, Olanta.
