Funeral services for Mr. Arthur Braswell will be conducted 12:00 noon Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at Miracle Deliverance Fellowship Church, 840 Dunbar Street, Florence. Interment will follow in the Florence National Cemetery. He departed this life on Thursday, November 22, 2007 in a local nursing care facility.
He was born October 24, 1920 in Dillon, South Carolina and attended the public schools of Dillon County. He served his country in the U. S. Army during World War II and received an honorable discharge. His employment was with Seaboard Coastline Railroad for more than 40 years before retiring.
Mr. Braswell was a faithful member of Miracle Deliverance Fellowship Church until his health declined.
Survivors are: his loving wife, Maggie M. Braswell; daughters, Brenda (Pastor Anthony) Howard, Melissa Braswell, Carolyn Blue and Joyce Thompson; sons, Mack (Margaret) Brunson, Jr. and Jessie Brunson; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; daughter-in-law, Barbara Braswell; and the dedicated Staff of Cooke Associates.
