Christena E. McKenna-Brady, of Cocoa, FL, went to heaven to be with her parents and sister on Monday, February 25, 2013. Chris was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York on June 7th, 1951.
Her and her sister went on vacation to Bermuda where she met the love of her life, Julio H. Brady, then later got married in February of 1976 and moved to Bermuda to start their family. Chris' life revolved around her family of three when her career moved them to Brevard County in 1981.
Chris was a mother figure to all that crossed her path. She will be loved and missed by many.
Chris' survivors include her only child, Cheryl K. Draves; son-in-law, John Draves; her three beautiful granddaughters who she loved more than life itself, Kylea, Kamryn, and Kynley Draves of Cocoa, FL; brother, Dan McKenna (Joan); sisters, Patricia Ann, Katie Petralak (Gerard), all of New York and Marian (Rob) of New Jersey; her nine nephews and nieces, as well as their families, Danny (also God son), Kevin, Brian, Erik, Sean, Debra, Kim, Allison, and Nancy. She is proceeded by her parents, Margaret "Peggy" and John McKenna; her sister, Maureen Daly; and nephew, Christopher Petralak.
Unexpectedly, Chris was joined in heaven on March 2, 2013 by her ex-husband, Julio "Spike" Brady, and the two have joined together again, to be forever angels to Cheryl, John, Kylea, Kamryn, and Kynley
A celebration of life will be held March 9, 2013, 2pm, at McClarty Park Rockledge, FL (the blue building).

Mommy- It's been a week and a half since you left to be with Poppie and Grandma, but it seems like YEARS :( I will NEVER forget all the amazing memories we have shared, nor will I forget that you were the BESTEST Mommy in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD :) It seems so silly still saying that at 33yrs of age, but the truth knows NO age. I just pray that you and daddy will forever be my angels and continue guiding the girls up the right path.
I love you VERY much!!! Go with God and I love you BIGGER!!!
