Helen Louise Osborne passed away May 3, 2013 in Melbourne, Florida, where she resided with her grandson, Thomas E. Allen, granddaughter-in-law, Jennifer Allen and her great-granddaughter, Natalie Ann Allen. Helen was born in 1930 in Slabfork, West Virginia and moved to Beckley, West Virginia where she married the late Jennings Osborne and raised her two kids, Joyce Ann and Richard Osborne.
She worked as an LPN until she retired from the medical field. She moved to Melbourne, Florida in 1987, where she helped raise her grandson, Thomas Allen. She was a lifetime WVU fan and an avid sports fan. She enjoyed the beach, playing bingo and slots.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce Ann Allen; husband, Jennings Osborne; and son, Richard J. Osborne. She is survived by her three brothers, Bob Ward, David Ward and Don Ward; two grandsons, Thomas E. Allen and Richard J. Osborne II; a granddaughter, Nancy M. Osborne; two granddaughters-in-law, Jennifer Allen and Diana Osborne; one great-granddaughter, Natalie Ann Allen; and many more nieces and nephews.
She was a kind soul, the Ward family matriarch, and she will be forever missed and loved by the ones left behind.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00am Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home in Cocoa Beach.

this years reunion will be very different but then again it wont because we can look right up into that beautiful Florida sky and know that she is looking down on us!!!

A wonderful woman who will be dearly missed! She wasn't my aunt by blood but thru love! Wish I could have seen her more and that my children could have known her! We will always love and miss you Aunt Helen!

My mother had the same name as this lady. My mother passed away in July. Just happened to see this while looking up my mom. Both will be missed and can you see them in Heaven when they meet and ask what is your name?
