Ken Fritsch was my first art director when I started out as an illustrator at SunGlo Designs in the 70's. Commercial art is a hard field and his friendliness and good humor and calm has been something positive for me to remember all my working life. I used to love hearing his stories about working at American Greetings. He maybe wouldn't even have remembered me but I always wanted to go to Miami and find him and tell him that he had made a big difference for me and to say thanks.
