Jack O. Glenn, Jr.

Jack Glenn, 68, of Melbourne, left us unexpectedly on Monday, June 9, 2014. He served in the U.S. Navy, followed by USN Reserves, and shortly thereafter began his career with the City of Melbourne as Fire Inspector, Building Inspector, and then Fire Marshall. He retired from the City in 1998 and moved to Tallahassee, where he joined the Florida Home Builders Association as Technical Services Director. He retired from FHBA and returned to his home in Melbourne in 2013.
Jack is preceded in death by his father, Jack O Glenn, Sr., his grandparents, Grover and Gladys Anderson and Aunt Erma Anderson.
He is survived by his mother, Jane Glenn of Palm Bay, daughters, Jill Glenn of Pensacola, Leigh (Rick) Dionisio of Foley, AL and their mother, Sue Byrne, grandsons, Connor Manning and Gavin Dionisio, sister, Christine(Tom) Penland of Palm Bay, niece Kelly (Tracy) Holmes and their children Tim, Mary, and Tracy of Palm Bay. He also leaves a very close friend, Jan Varga and his best buddy, Jake.
A Celebration of Jack's Life will be held at a later date for family friends and business associates. Condolences may be offered at www.davisseawinds.com.

I will miss Jack very much. We discussed all subject matters at the FBC meetings, and enjoyed talking about our cars, especially vettes.
