Ann Grenville Obituary
Ann Susan Grenville, Mother of 3, Grandmother of 3, and second mom to hundreds of Delta Zeta Sorority women, passed away at the age of 57 on Tuesday, January 4, 2011.

She was an inspiring woman that always brightened up the room. Her smile was contagious and her personality was unmatched. She always knew the right words for all situations and could always be depended on for comfort and advice. The lives she touched were limitless and the heavens are lucky to have a new angel.

Ann was born in Gainesville, FL while her father attended the University of Florida. The family later moved to Titusville, FL where she graduated from THS. She then attended UF where she was very active in campus activities. Ann had a very rewarding career.

She was the first woman police officer in Waynesville, NC, and after moving back to FL, she worked for Pan American World Airways as a Security Specialist at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station where she obtained the rank of Sergeant. Her duties included security for the Air Force as well as a SWAT Team Leader. Ann also had a successful in-home daycare business for 14 years in Titusville. She later moved to Gainesville, FL, and became a House Director at Delta Zeta Sorority at University of Florida where she was the ultimate Gator fan!

She is survived by Stacy, Shaun and Parker Dellone (Daughter, Son-in-law and Grandson), Brian Foxhoven (Son), Mark, Jack and Megan Ireland (Son, Grandson and Granddaughter), Bert and Jean Grenville (Father and Stepmother), Alan and Denise Grenville (Brother and Sister-in-law), Linda Mixson (Sister), Carol and Mike Arieux (Sister and Brother-in-law) and Robert Grenville (Brother), Mark Middleton (Stepbrother), Missy Ernest (Stepsister), David Middleton (Stepbrother) and 11 Nieces/Nephews.

The service will be held in Gainesville, FL at Trinity United Methodist Church, 4:30 pm on Saturday, January 8, 2011.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children's Miracle Network or Delta Zeta Sorority at the University of Florida.
