Bonnie Ruth Clevenger, 93, of Mims, FL, an avid Bingo player, loving mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, June 25, 2011. Originally from Knoxville, TN, she and her family moved to Titusville in 1957.
Mrs. Clevenger was a loving and devoted housewife who thoroughly enjoyed sewing and bargain hunting. Prior to her husband's death, they were members of the Elk's lodge of Titusville and the American Legion Post #1 of Titusville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle J. Clevenger; parents, Burl and DeVona Anderson of Knoxville, TN; sister, Evelyn A. Thompson of Jacksonville, FL; and brothers, Jack S. Anderson of Tennessee and William R. Anderson of Jacksonville. She is survived by her son, Eddie; and daughter, Connie Duff (Larry), both of Mims; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews, all of whom were her favorites.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 28th, from 5 - 8 PM with a funeral service on Wednesday, June 29th at 4 PM at North Brevard Funeral Home.
