Melbourne - With deep loss and heartache the family of Robert Gransbury sadly announce his passing on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at the age of 84.

Robert Gransbury "Bob" was born November 25 1933 to Helen (Baker) and Chauncy Gransbury in Binghamton NY. There he joined the United States Army and served his country during the Korean War. He eventually moved to Melbourne Florida and worked for Rockwell Collins, JC Penny and the Brevard Zoo making many friends. He met and married Naomi J Gransbury "Nikki" and with his great love, kindness and patience blended a family together with 12 children blessed to have him in their lives.

Bob loved fishing, pineapple upside down cake, petting his cat and tickling his grandkids. He had a calm understanding spirit and a quick smile. He was a faithful Christian, a loyal, loving Husband, a noble father and a jubilant grandpa. He will be missed greatly and remembered passionately.

Bob was preceded in death by his father and mother; his brothers, Ken Gransbury & Dick Gransbury and his son, Norman Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Nikki; his sisters, Becky Kimmy and Bernadette Bailey; his sister in law, Judy Gransbury; his sons, William Gransbury, Zach Gransbury, Robert Gransbury, Neil Gransbury and Alan Johnson; his daughters, Kathy Thompson, Jayma Seymour, Debra Sebastian, Deanna Ahern, Donna Bailey and Sherri Johnson; his niece, Penney Haufler whom he loved as a daughter; many close nieces and nephews; 16 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and his beloved buddy cat, Chewy.

Memorial Service to be held 11 AM Saturday, December 15th at Acension Catholic Church 2950 N. Harbor City Blvd. Melbourne FL 32935.
