Bobby R.Burson, age 62, died peacefully at home, with family, on Monday August 26, 2013.

Bob was born onNovember 2, 1950 in El Dorado, Arkansas; the third of six children. He enlisted in the Air Force at the age of seventeen, serving bravely in the Vietnam War. During his 22 years of military service he was stationed in the U.S. and Italy. After retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant from the military he worked for Coastal Courier delivering Capital Office Products throughout North Brevard and the Space Coast. In 2011, Bob left Coastal to start his own company; Bob's Sharpening Service. He worked with chefs, hairdressers and housewives from Titusville to Palm Bay, turning what was originally a small hobby into a thriving business.

He found great joy in racing sail boats with the Melbourne Yacht Club, being an active member and volunteer with Unity of Melbourne, wood carving, and playing with his grandsons.

He is survived by his loving wife; Barbara HoeyMcIntyre, his children; ArleneBurson, Lindsay Tabora (Bill) and Andrew Aubin, and his grandchildren; Brenden and Liam.He is survived by four siblings by birth; Carolyn, Ronnie, Laura, and Enese, two siblings by marriage; Bill Hoey and Susan Hoey Blesch, and a lengthy list of adoring family and friends.

Bob's service will be held at Unity of Melbourne on Sunday, September 1st at 2 pm. A memorial reception will be held at the Melbourne Yacht Club, immediately following the service.
