Colby Broughton Mack

Colby Broughton Mack, 31, died Oct. 10, 2016. To fit the life of someone as amazing as Colby Mack into the confines of these paragraphs, this page or even this entire paper would be impossible. To have known a man, a son, a brother, a husband, an uncle, a friend so outstanding in every way was an intangible feeling none of us can describe.

As his family, we basked in his popularity and were enamored by his talents and how humble he was about each and every one of them. We all learned at an early age Colby was our 'He-man'. He could do anything, perform any daredevil trick, win any race, master any skill and make it look easy.

We will miss the friend who would help at the drop of a hat. The son, brother and husband who tested limits daily. The young man who brought home trophies and made us beam with pride every time we could be in his presence. When you think of that one person you would want to invite on an adventure, call when you were in need, or just hang out with for the day .. he was that guy. A true one-of-a-kind badass.

To those of us who knew him, who loved him, who got angry with him, who worshiped him - we will miss the boy and man he turned out to be. We will mourn the man who is gone, but he will be with us every day. We know that above all he would want us to remember him as he lived, how he loved and how many people he impacted.

Colby is survived by many family and friends who loved him dearly.
