Eleanor Hansen Bremer Heusler Obituary
There will be no prior calling hours. Friends are invited to attend a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday (March 30) in Riverview Cemetery in Clifton Springs.
It is requested that memorial donations be made to the Lipson Cancer Institute at Clifton Springs Hospital 2 Coulter Road Clifton Springs, NY 14432.
Eleanor was born on February 5, 1937 in Clifton Springs, N.Y. the daughter of the late Walter and Florence Everson Hansen. She retired from the Finger Lakes DDSO where she was a nurses aid for 25 years. She was an active member of the Clifton Springs Baptist Church. Eleanor enjoyed baking for any of the church functions. Most important was her family.
She is survived by her children Brian (Karen) Bremer of Canandaigua, Alan (Susan) Bremer of Shortsville, Kevin (Anne) Bremer of Elmira, Maren (Ken) Bellinger of Linden, Mich.; grandchildren Jerico, Racheal, Brittany, Nicole, Steven and Laura; great-grandchildren Jordan, Brandon, Nathan, Zach, Landon, Emily, Lucy, Oliver and Kaiden; sister, Shirley (Brian) Repphun of S.C.; Jack (Debbie) Hansen of Fla.; Jerry Hansen of Va.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Charles "Bud" Bremer; and Gerald Heusler; great-granddaughter, Kayla.
Funeral arrangements have been made with the Cheney Funeral Home 70 Main Street Phelps.

Sincere condolences to Eleanor's family members and friends. I remember Eleanor from the Clifton Springs First Baptist Church - she was always right there with delicious pies she baked for the dinners the church would serve. My late father - the Rev. Al Kamm, who was Pastor of the church for years - and she got along famously - Dad said it was because they shared the same birthday (Feb. 5th) and Eleanor said it was because she enjoyed baking raisin pies (his favorite) for Dad. Eleanor was a kind and generous soul and it was a privilege to know her. May she rest in peace and rise in Glory.
