Casey Monahan Obituary
Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m.on Sunday (July 9) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home. Military rites will immediately follow.
Casey was born November 2,1984 in Corning, N.Y., the son of Jimmy and Deborah Merrill Monahan. Casey served in the Army National Guard and Reserves from 2008 to 2013. He was employed at Pat O'Brien & Sons, Inc. Feed & Grain in Bellona, N.Y. His passion was riding his motorcycle and fishing. He enjoyed time he spent with his children. Those who knew him stated he was fearless and enjoyed the company of women.
He is survived by his children, Rydrian and Teanna Monahan; mother, Deborah (James) Burleson of Waterloo; brother, Patrick Monahan and his children, Cameron and Bryce Monahan of Geneva; sister, Jamie Monahan and her children, Dawson and Tessa Comfort and Rihanna Monahan of Corning; maternal grandmother, Barbara Merrill of Corning; step-grandmother, Patricia Burleson of Hornell; maternal grandfather, John (Glenda) Merrill ofCorning; several aunts, uncles and cousins; also leaving behind good friend, Bubby.
