Kolbe was born May 15, 1996, to Ken and Katie Prust of Cool. Kolbe was homeschooled most of his life and graduated from Horizon Charter School in 2015. He attended St Joseph's and St Teresa's while growing up and enjoyed his time with our family priest friend Fr. Glenn Dare and our Deacon Mark Ruiz. Growing up, Kolbe loved to play basketball and baseball, and he spent much of his time working on the ranch with his beloved brothers and dad. Kolbe had a life-long dream of joining the military. Most recently, Kolbe loved lifting weights and working out where he was joined by his sister Sophia and youngest brother Levi. He also played pickup basketball, rode his motorcycle, and had started bull riding. Most of all, Kolbe enjoyed hanging out with his family. He liked his time working with his buddies from Echo Valley Feed Supply in Auburn. Kolbe had a special bond with his nieces and nephew and loved them dearly. He was known for dropping by unannounced on family and friends, just to visit. What a gift it was for those lucky enough to be on Kolbe's rounds. Kolbe gave it his all, he was earnest, hopeful and loving. He had a great smile that would light up your day! Kolbe is treasured and missed immensely.
