Allen was an amazing artist and educator. He was my art teacher in 8th grade at St. Charles and then my professor for several different art courses at IPFW. He will be greatly missed and I am truly sorry for his family's loss.

I was a student of Allen's. I am saddened and shocked to learn of his sudden departure. He was a very caring man and contributed to my life by having taught me. To his family I wish you comfort in these trying times. It will get better in time.

So sorry to hear of your incredible loss, just found out this evening. I really enjoyed working with Allen at St. John's here in New Haven. His original plays were fabulous and the kids enjoyed Allen's delightful sense of humor-"Of Course the Butler Did It...But Which One?" He will be remembered for his amazing talent and I am sure his love of family. Blessings to all of you.
