MARTIN L. "SHORTY" WILLIAMS JR., 83, of Fort Wayne passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2018. Born Jan. 30, 1935, in Etowah County, Ala., he was a son of the late Martin Luther and Martha Jane (Roebuck) Williams. He served in the U.S. Army. He worked at Dana Corp. for 47 years. Besides working very hard and being efficient he enjoyed spending time with his family. He also liked to garden. He is survived by his wife, Joyce "Judy" Williams; sons, Barry (Kate) and Eric (Laura) Williams; grandchildren, Adam (Heidi), Cattie, Brennan (Kristine), Victoria, and Nicholas; and great-grandchildren, Seth and Brianna. He was also preceded in passing by his eight siblings. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 15, 2018, at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne (IN 46804), with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Condolences may be left online at www.greenlawnmpfh.com
