LARRY R. LINK, 77, of Fort Wayne, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016, at his home. Born Nov. 16, 1938, in Fort Wayne, he was the son of William B. and Helen I. (Sylvester) Link. He graduated from North Side High School with the Class of 1957. On Nov. 7, 1958, Larry married Marilyn Linnemeier. He was an agent for Farm Bureau Insurance for 43 years, receiving their Governor's award three times. He was a faithful member and a past officer of Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church along with being a member of the Fort Wayne Life Underwriting Assoc. and over 25 years in the Million Dollar Round Table. Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Marilyn Link; children, Sherry (Mark) Bernstein, of Gotha, Fla., Kenton (Patricia) Link, of Mullins, S.C., James (Victoria) Link, of Longwood, Fla. and Scott (Cindi) Link, of Huntertown; sister, Bonita (Richard) Camp, of Fort Wayne; and grandchildren, Josh Link, Ryan Bernstein, Andrea Link and Levi Link. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Leslie Babcok. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016, at Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 6318 W. California Road, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Bill Mueller will be officiating. Visitation also from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church. He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given in his memory to Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church, ALS Association or Heartland Hospice.
