So many memories....Visiting you.....Flying to NJ for visits....Cousin Joe taking you boys to the Smithsonian....Cousin Jim taking you to 6 Flags....Grandad buying model after model for you to have "something to do"....Visiting Ft. Mott and Pea Patch Island....Jumping in the DE River, "by accident"....Watching your blue eyes with excitement telling a story....Listening to a ballad your Mom taught you to sing....Working on the leather burning kit on our dining room table....Climbing trees in Aunt Kitty's back yard....Your love for reading....Your talent for drawing....Your kindness toward your many friends....Your love for your family....Our many conversations on the phone....Saying "I love you, Pete".....and then, hearing, "Love you, too, Aunt Dar"....Sure gonna miss you, Pete......

Pete was my closest friend through a majority of my childhood. We read comics, climbed trees, and got into as much mischief as adolescent boys could. It seemed both our mothers were worried the we were each a bad influence on the other. We slowly grew apart over the years but I never forgot about him. He was, is, and always will be my friend.
