ALEXANDER T. FREEMAN, 23, of Fort Wayne, departed us to be in Heaven with his Lord Jesus on Saturday, May 3, 2014. Born in Fort Wayne, he graduated from Wayne High School in 2010. He had worked in the distribution center at Sears. He was baptized at Waynedale Baptist Church. "Alex you will be remembered and never forgotten as the loving fiance, father, son, and friend. Your smile and sense of humor will always be alive here and in Heaven." He is survived by his fiance, Macie Martz; son, Elijah Freeman; parents, Chris and Rhonda Freeman; siblings, Samantha and Tyler Freeman; maternal grandfather, Raymond (Donna) Pelz; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Nicholas Freeman; maternal grandmother, Patricia Pelz; paternal grandparents, Robert and Marianne Freeman. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2014, at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 8, 2014, at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens.
