I'm so sorry & sad to hear this! We used to have small carry ins at Lakeside Middle School when she still drove bus. Costella always loved my pecan pie, so I would bake my pecan pie & Costella would bring ribs from Kings if I remember correctly. We met for breakfast also. Costella had a big heart, & a great sense of humor. My sympathy to her family.

I knew Costella from her participation in the Wellspring Older Adult Program. I worked there many years until retirement. Costella could put a smile on her face even when in pain or having other physical issues. Her laugh was infectious and brought light to many a dreary day. She had a "way" of communicating with those participants with special needs and they felt loved and respected by her. She will be missed.
