DALE A. AUGSPURGER, 85, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at Lutheran Life Villages in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Dale worked with Tri-City Automotive Warehouse for many years. He was a member of Taylor Chapel United Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening. Surviving are his sons, Art (Lynette) Augspurger of Fort Wayne and Paul (Jill) Augspurger of Huntington; grandchildren, Seth, Hannah and Ben; and several nieces and nephews. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Arnan and Grace Augspurger; wife, Dolores Augspurger; and sister, Joan Foltz. Service is 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 25, 2016 at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, April 24, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Taylor Chapel United Methodist Church, Northeast Indiana Radio Reading Service, or League for the Blind & Disabled. So sorry to hear of Dale's death. He was a real "can do" kind of guy who never let physical limitations keep him from accomplishing his goals. I know his family will miss him.
