DESIREE NOEL BUSKIRK, 13, of rural Fort Wayne, passed away Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018. Born Nov. 15, 2004 in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of Marvin and Ednalyn (Noel) Buskirk, who survive. Desiree was a seventh grade student at Summit Middle School. She loved animals of all kinds and had hoped to be a veterinarian in the future. She is also survived by her half-brother, Daniel D. Buskirk of Mason, Mich.; grandparents, Arsenia and Antonio Noel of Butuan, Philippines; nieces and nephews, Lauren North, Jana Gulliver, Wesley Buskirk, Landen Buskirk, Lucas Buskirk, Kohl Buskirk, and Neveah Buskirk; and a number of aunts and uncles. Funeral service is 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018, at Nine Mile United Methodist Church, 6303 Winters Road, Fort Wayne (IN 46809) with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb.14, 2018, at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne (IN 46809).
