DOROTHY MAE JONES, 84, of Fort Wayne, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018. She was born May 22, 1934, the daughter of the late Clarence and Dorothy (Hitze-man) Blair. She was a member at St. Michael's Lutheran Church. She was also a part of the Allen County Amateur Radio Technical Society. Dorothy was a Docent at the Lincoln Museum in Fort Wayne. She enjoyed her many adventures from camping at Mananpogo Park, traveling to various places, and going on cruises. She loved to walk no matter the place. She is survived by her sons, David (Angela) Jones Jr., Doug (Susan) Jones, and Dirk Jones, all of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, David Jones, Rachel Hakel, Michael Jones, and Sara Friend; great-grandchild, Amanda Friend; and brother, Bob Blair. She was also preceded in passing by her husband, David "Bill" Jones; and brother, Dick Blair. Funeral Service is 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 17, 2018, at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, (IN 46809), with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse and . Condolences maybe left at
