JOHN W. FACKLER, , 72, of Fort Wayne, passed away Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020, at his home. Born Nov, 2, 1948, in Pioneer, Ohio, he was the son of Carl and Frances Fackler. He retired from Dana Corporation after 30 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 499. Surviving are his wife, Sandra Fackler; daughter, Jennifer (Robert) Jones; and two granddaughters, Delayna and Evelynn Jones. A Celebration of Life to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a college fund for his granddaughters. Donations being accepted at any 3 Rivers branch in c/o Jennifer Jones "Memorial" account.

John was rather quiet, but he had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed reading. He always had a book handy in case he had time to read. He liked music and dancing. He will be greatly missed. I'm privileged to call him Friend. R.I.P.
