LORAINE ANN BRANDENBERGER, 94, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, April 12, 2018. She was born March 19, 1924, in Archbold, Ohio, a daughter of the late William and Mattie (Grieser) Nofziger. She married the Rev. Martin L. Brandenberger on March 19, 1947, in the Central Mennonite Church in Archbold, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 20, 2006. She was a homemaker who loved her children, baking, cooking and had the gift of hospitality. She was also a member of Northpoint Community Church in Fort Wayne. Surviving are her sons, Marvin L. Brandenberger of Sarasota, Fla., Dan (Susie) Brandenberger of New Haven, and Jay (Nancy) Brandenberger of Fort Wayne; daughters, Marlene (Tom) VerMeulen of Auburn and Mary Lou Brandenberger of Darkhan, Mongolia; 17 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mardee Brandenberg er; brother, Levi Nofziger; and sister, Kathryn Briskey. Service is 11 a.m. Thursday, April 19, 2018, Northpoint Community Church, 10513 Leo Road, Fort Wayne, with calling two hours prior at the church. Calling also from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at Northpoint Community Church. Burial in Yaggy Cemetery, Grabill.
