MARILYN ANN (HENSICK) MINER, 80, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018. Marilyn was born on Sept. 25, 1937 in Dearborn, Mich. Her family soon moved to Fort Wayne where she was raised and graduated from Concordia High School. She married Norman Miner in 1959. In 1971, they moved to Arlington, Texas, where she worked as an RN at Arlington Memorial and raised five children. She was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Arlington. An avid reader, she found great pleasure in her books and her children. She is survived by her brother, Joe Hensick; sister, Judy Feldkamp; daughters, Jennifer (Doug) Kirkley, Becky (Carl) Lottman and Amanda (Todd) Taylor; sons, Michael (Lydia) and Chris (Melissa); and granddaughters, Caitlyn, Meghan, Sarah, Sydney, Katya, Malorie, Parker, Sonya, and Madison. She was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara; and granddaughter, Brittany. Her body will be donated to science, and the family will hold a private service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be sent to the to honor her years as an oncologist RN.
