MICHAEL ALLEN HOEPPNER, 71, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018. Born Oct. 7, 1946, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Gilbert C. and Mitzi Hoepp ner. Michael was the co-owner, along with his wife Linda, of Hoosier Pride Plastics, Inc. founded in 1988. He was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran, the Elks, Free Mason's, Scottish Rite, Shriners and American Legion Post 499. Michael proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard. He was a graduate of Purdue University with an Engineering Degree, and obtained four U.S. patents. Michael is survived by his loving wife, Linda C. Hoeppner; daughters, Mona (Jeff) Hoeppner-Carmean and Michelle (Dennis) Hoeppner-Houlihan; granddaughter, Kyleigh Carmean; brothers, Dennis, Jeff and Phil Hoeppner; and sister, Cindy Hartman. Service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 3425 Crescent Ave., Fort Wayne, with visitation from 10 a.m. until the service. Visitation also from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17, 2018, at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Road, Fort Wayne.
