Obituary

PATRICIA "DIANN" HUNT, 58, of Woodburn, stepped through Heaven's gates at 5:03 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, 2013. She was born in Muncie, Ind. on Aug. 2, 1955, a daughter of the late Jesse T. and Edna Mae Walker. She was a member of Grace Point Church of the Nazarene in Fort Wayne. Diann was an accomplished author of 25 books, and a Hallmark Channel movie of her novel For Better or For Worse will air July 12, 2014. She loved to laugh and encourage other people. She married James Hunt of Lafayette, Ind. on March 22, 1975 who survives her. They have two children, daughter, Amber (Kyle) Zimmerman of Fort Wayne ; and son, Aaron (Megan) Hunt of Jackson, Mich.; she is also survived by two brothers, Jess Walker of Bismarck, N.D., and Fred Walker of Great Falls, Mont.; and seven grandchildren, Macy, Micah, Zoe, and Xander Zimmerman and Abby, Mia and Maddox Hunt. She was preceded in death by her sister, Shelia Mae Dawson. Service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013 at Grace Point Church of the Nazarene, 8611 Mayhew Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Rex Person and Pastor Brady Wisehart officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, 2013 at Grace Point Church.
