ROBERT RAY BAKER, 83, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, Jan. 11, 2019. Born on Thursday, May 2, 1935 in Harlan, Ky., he was a son of the late George Baker and Lucy (Rice) Baker Wine. He served in the United States Army. Robert worked for Tokheim for 42 years, later retiring from there. He is survived by his children, Kenneth (Linda) Baker of Fort Wayne, Ind., Annette Fox of Fort Wayne, Ind., Danny (Debbie) Baker of Yoder, Ind., Jeanette (Chris Lane) Gloy of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Patricia (Brad) Scher of Andrews, Ind.; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brothers, David Baker, Carl Baker, Vernon Baker; and sister, Carolyn Deckard. He was also preceded in passing by his wife, Patricia (Frantz) Baker; brother, Ronnie Baker; twin sister, Zella Philpot, and sisters, Dorothy Payne and Newana Moon; and son-in-law, Christopher Fox. Funeral Service is 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2019, at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne (IN 46804), with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2019, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's, Dementia Association, and Visiting Nurse on Homestead Road.
