ROSEMARY B. GREMAUX, 91, of Decatur, died on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at Adams Woodcrest. Born May 1, 1927, in Allen County, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Frank and Rosa (Sorg) Otten weller. On Nov. 27, 1952, she married Joseph F. Gremaux and after 60 years together he preceded her in death on March 20, 2013. She was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church and its Rosary Society. Rosie worked the majority of her life raising her large family as a homemaker. For numerous years, Rosie along with her husband Joe helped organize and run many events, functions, and day-to-day activities for the Knights of Columbus Msgr. J.J. Semeitz Council 864 in Decatur. Rosie is survived by her six sons, Ron (Teresa) Gremaux of Kendallville, Dan (Jane) Gremaux of Decatur, John (Patty) Gremaux of Cassopolis, Mich., Jim (Connie) Gremaux, Stan Gremaux and Mike (Monica) Gremaux, all of Decatur; two daughters, Judy (Steven) Knowles of Woodburn and Diane (Randy) Goettemoeller of Maria Stein, Ohio; two brothers, Joe (Ruth) Ottenweller and Bob (Jane) Ottenweller, both of Hoagland; two sisters, Theresa Oberley of Monroeville and Germaine (Rod) Walker of Carmel; 18 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Don, Dick, Carl, and John Ottenweller. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Friday, May 11, 2018, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, with calling one hour prior from 9 to 10 a.m. in the St. Mary's Parish Hall. Father David Ruppert officiating. Visitation also from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2018, at Haggard-Sefton-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home, with reciting of the Holy Rosary at 1:30 p.m. Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
