ROSEMARY K. EBETINO, 93, of Monroeville, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at DuPont Hospital. Born Feb. 12, 1925, in Decatur, she was a daughter of the late Bernard and Marcella (Teeple) Kintz. Rosemary proudly served as a cadet in the nurse corps during World War II. She graduated from Central Catholic High School and furthered her education at St. Joseph School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse in obstetrics at St. Joseph Hospital for 41 years, retiring in 1987. She was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church, most recently attending St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven. She enjoyed old movies, gardening, crocheting, knitting, painting and Sudoku puzzles. She is survived by her children, Mary Ann (David) Weikel of Harlan, Rosalie Kay Sorg of Fort Wayne, Frank J. Ebetino of Fort Wayne, and Bernard V. (Patricia) Ebetino of Monroeville; 12 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Salvatore J. Ebetino; son, Thomas D. Ebetino; sister, Patricia Coffee; one grandson; and daughter-in-law, Violet Ebetino. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers St., New Haven, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 11, 2018, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne. Inurnment will be at a later date at Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
