THOMAS H. "TOM" WOLFE, 73, of Huntington, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018. He was able to work his entire career in positions that involved his passion of flying. He owned and operated Huntington Aviation airport for 14 years, was a pilot for Triad Utrad and Shuttleworth, and lastly an instructor at Flight Safety. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Linda; two sons, Jeff (Misty) Wolfe of Jasper and James (Heather) Wolfe of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren, Evan Wolfe, Samantha Wolfe, Ben Wolfe, and Jack Wolfe; mother, Doris Wolfe of Huntington; and brother, Kurt (Karen) Wolfe of Columbia City. Service is 10:30 a.m. Friday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Military honors will be presented. Burial in Thorn Cemetery, Ormas. Preferred memorials to or Riley Children's Research Hospital. Online condolences to smithandsonsfuneralhome.com
