ZINA IDA HAAFF, 92, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, May 10, 2018. Born on Sept. 3, 1925 to a family of seven children in the country of Poland, she and her older sister, Bronia, survived World War II, having been taken into forced labor by the Germans. After the war, Zina came to the United States in 1949, sponsered by the Catholic Relief Organization. Zina became an U.S. Citizen. On Oct. 7, 1951, she married Orval Haaff, who survives. She was employed by IBM, Lincoln National, and a local dental office. Also surviving are her two sons, Eric (Kim) and Mark (Marcia); and three grandsons, Joel, Kyle, and Taylor. Service is 11 a.m, Thursday, May 17, 2018, at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Rd., with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at the funeral home. Burial in Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indi.
