JIMMIE LEE SATTISON, 72, of Waterloo, died Tuesday evening, Sept. 21, 2004, at his home. Born April 6, 1932, in Wilmington Township, DeKalb County, he was the son of the late Clayton and Lula Mae (Albright) Sattison. He retired in 1999 as owner of Sattison Refrigeration of Waterloo, after 45 years. He served as a corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a lifetime member of the National American Legion and member of the Garrett American Legion, Waterloo VFW, Korean War Veterans Chapter 1 of Indiana, the Shifters Car Club of Auburn, Aircraft Owner and Pilots Association and the Experimental Aircraft Association. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mavis Dee (Roberts) Sutton, April 2, 1996, whom he wed, Feb. 3, 1952, in Pleasant Lake. He married his second wife, Phyllis (Keneubuhler) Sattison, Dec. 21, 1996, in Angola, and she survives. Also surviving are his daughter, Kaylee Sattison Witt of Ashley; two sons and daughters-in-law, Marty (Mary Jo) Sattison of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Mark (Lori) Sattison of Corunna; a stepson, Rocky Sattison of Waterloo; two brothers, Albert Sattison of Churubusco, Clayton Sattison Jr. of Hamilton; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Service is 11 a.m. Saturday at Feller Funeral Home of Waterloo, with visitation from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday. Burial in Waterloo. Memorials to DeKalb Memorial Hospice.
