DIANA ESSEX Obituary

DIANA SUE ESSEX, 60, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2014, in Antioch, Calif. after a lengthy illness. Born in Decatur in 1953, she attended North Side High School, Fort Wayne. She is survived by her mother, LaVelle Essex; son, Justin (Karen Lee Daniels) Becktell of Chapel Hill, N.C.; brother, Donald Essex of Fort Wayne; sisters, Glenna Essex of Fort Wayne and Pamela Gates of Merrillville; and three grandchildren, Jaydin Becktell of Biloxi, Miss. and Kai and Adaya Becktell, both of Chapel Hill, N.C. She was preceded in death by her father, Glenn E. Essex. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Home.
