Hey Burnsey I was trying to get to sleep last night and your name kept coming up in my head. I called you about 20 years ago just to say hello and we had a great conversation. I never thanked you for your help with the Lakes Regionaire Drum and Bugle Corp so many years ago. You were a great friend. Thank you for not crashing your motorcycle coming back from Somersworth to Laconia that early evening in the summer when we got a flat tire. Rest in peace Burns until we get to see you again my friend. Now I know why you were bugging me to look you up.

He was a dear friend to me. We had so many fun times together. He took my high school friend Julie to our senior prom, His friend Rodney was my escort and his friend Tim took my friend Cindy. Partied at York Beach ME after... The year 1977. He became friends with my college roommates also at UVM. Everyone who met him loved him. I still have all his letters he wrote to me in college. He was the one who turned me on to Pink Floyd "Dark Side of the Moon" album wearing his awesome headphones. We buried jugs of wine in the Swift River off the Kancamagus Highway in the winter and then go back in the Spring and find them. He was a joy to be with and a great buddy. We lost contact for many years and I had just found him 2 years ago by sending him a Christmas card with my phone number in it. He called! It was a miracle to speak with him again. Just sat down tonight and wrote out a Christmas card to him. I am sending to his last known address in Somersworth with the instructions to whomever receives it to forward it to him in Heaven..... Love you Burns. Hugs and Kisses....Laura

I met Burns many years ago (early 80's) through Billy Scritchfield. Burns and I stayed in touch and he always made me feel like a queen. He was a good man and I am so sorry to hear of his loss.

Burns was in the Graniteers from 1963 to 1965 in the bugle section. A great asset and a friend to all. The photo was taken in 1964 at the New York World's Fair, it's safe to assume that Burns was in the photo and due to the shakos difficult to locate him among the members

To the Bolstridge family
Burnsey and I first met as pipefitter’s on the same crew, on the first day working at PNS. He was quite a character with his bib overalls, train engineers hat and sunglasses. He lived to make meals at break time for himself and us if there was time. He was an excellent brazer, pipe grinder and pipe fitter. He was a good friend and may he Rest In Peace!
