RYE - John Godfrey Richardson was born in Boston, Massachusetts to Mary-Frances Godfrey and John Curtis Richardson on October 4, 1943. Fondly known as Jack, he died on Thursday, December 1, 2016 after a brief illness.

Jack graduated from Berwick Academy in 1962, University of Maine 1966 and the University of Maine School of Law in 1969. He was admitted in 1969 to the Bar in the States of New Hampshire and Maine. Jack's Law practice was located in Rochester, New Hampshire.

Jack was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Survivors include his beloved wife Jeannine, sister Deborah Richardson Cotter, son John Godfrey Richardson and wife Kristin, daughter Wendy Ann Richardson Reich and husband Peter, Jeannine's children Talia Graham and Taryn Connery. Grandchildren include Garrett and Holden Richardson, Maxwell and Megan Reich, Gray Graham, Wyn and Vinai Raksakulthai. Nieces Reed Cotter Curry, Caroline Cotter, nephew Damon Cotter and Jack's former wife Bonnie Peterman. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

SERVICES: Visiting hours with the family will be at Tasker Funeral Home in Dover, N.H., on Tuesday, December 6, 2016, from 4-7 p.m. There will be private graveside services for the immediate family at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jack's name to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude PL, Memphis, Tenn., 38105-9959, or Pulmonary Research Foundation, 230 East Olio St., Suite 500, Chicago, Ill., 60611.
