We bought our house, 22 years old, on dewey st. Dick and Pauline were now our neighbors, we were young, and they knew it. I think at first they were worried, but man, they turned out to be the greatest neighbors ever. They were there for everything, births, birthdays, like second grandparents. they helped us with yard work, Pauline loved cards and taught one of our seven year olds to play cribbage. They came on Christmas eve, They loved the kids , they loved us, we loved them. We missed them when we moved, and will always miss them. My family has so many memories, I wish I could write them all, we will always have them in our hearts. Love and condolences.

My condolences to Mr Herveys family , he was my school bus driver in elementary school, I recall him as a kind man, patient man, I can remember one year it was the last day of school, one of the last stops was Lone oaks Icecream parking lot, there were a handful of us on the bus and he bought us all an Ice cream, I never forgot that after all these years.

Dick was my bus driver for many years, but he was so much more than that. He was a wonderful caring man. He cared for children so much, always had a big smile , an ear for listening and words of wisdom just when you needed it.
