DOVER - Myrtle Emma Young, 91, of Middle Road died peacefully on Sunday, August 9, 2015, at the Langdon Place of Dover.

She was born April 26, 1924, the daughter of Edwin and Ethal Young (Wilkinson) in South Berwick, Maine, where she was a longtime resident, until moving to Dover.

She is predeceased by her sisters Edna Kenney, and Elizabeth Brooks.

She is survived by her nieces Maureen Hayward of York, Maine, Cindy Bolduc of Clinton, N.H., and nephews Darrell Kenney of Rochester, N.H., Robert Brooks of Canton, N.H., and Lee Brooks of Lebanon, Maine.

SERVICES: Services will be held Wednesday, August 12th at 11 a.m. at the McIntire-McCooey Funeral Home, 301 Main Street, South Berwick Maine. Burial will immediately follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.

I worked at Langdon Place for 3 years and Myrtle was the sweetest, kindest lady. Always quick with a smile and a wave and a thank you any time you did even the littlest thing for her. She will be missed.
