Karen Sexton Obituary
Mrs. Karen Sue Sexton, 57, of Frederick, passed away March 2 after a long and brave battle with illness. She was the wife of Mark Edward Sexton. Born on May 22, 1959, she was a daughter of Susie May and the late Charles Lenhart May.

Karen was very active and involved in the family business, Mark's Equipment Service, Inc., especially on the administrative side. She lived for her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Sexton enjoyed and took pride in her gardens. She was a canner and made apple butter and sauerkraut. Karen was a NASCAR fan, specifically Rusty Wallace and Elliot Sadler and also liked the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her son Christopher Charles Sexton and his wife Gabrielle; granddaughters Makayla, Savannah and Riley Sexton; sisters Dianna Moxley and her husband Kevin and Kimberly Krenzer and her husband Ralph as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition, she will be missed by close friends Josh and Angel Cregger of Walkersville and Brent and Donna Toms of Myersville.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 8 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Mrs. Sexton's family requests memorial contributions be made to Patty Pollatos Fund, Inc, 22 South Market Street, Suite 3, Frederick, MD 21701. In Memo Line of Check, please list "Angel Cregger" so contributions may be made directly to her.
