Tyler Jordan Hoefs, 27, of Ijamsville, passed from this life unexpectedly on Thursday, January 18, 2018.

Born on June 28, 1990, in Frederick, he was the son of Lori A. Chipley Burch and husband David of Ijamsville and the late Chris A. Hoefs.

Tyler attended Urbana High School and graduated from J.H. Rose High School in Greenville, NC.

He was passionate about playing sports including baseball, football and basketball; dirt bike riding and paint ball.

Tyler was a Dallas Cowboys fan and an avid computer gamer. He was a genuine friend and was always there without judgment. Tyler would rather have lived and learned than to not have lived at all.

Tyler was also preceded in death by grandparents Dennis Hoefs, Barbara Spelzini and aunt Stacey Spelzini.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Friday, January 26, at Stauffer Funeral Home 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.

Tyler would frequently light up the streets of Frederick in a Batman suit. To honor his memory the family is encouraging anyone, who would like, to wear a superhero t-shirt or item of their choice .
